Steve Winton is an accomplished litigator and focuses his practice on real estate, business and commercial litigation. Steve has been successful in numerous trials, including high stakes matters involving many millions of dollars. He is an excellent strategist in all areas of conflict, ranging from mediation to arbitration and litigation through trial and appeal. Steve has extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Steve also has substantial experience handling real estate
and commercial negotiations and transactions.

Steve holds a juris doctor degree from the University of California at Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law, where he received the Moot Court Best Brief Award and high honors. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, magna cum laude, from the University of California San Diego. Steve was a Midshipman at the U.S. Naval Academy for two years prior to transferring to UCSD.

Steve has been selected as one of San Diego’s “Super Lawyers” for four consecutive years in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, a distinction granted each year to only five percent of practicing attorneys in San Diego County. This recognition is by peer review and selection (www.SuperLawyers.com).
